The 50/50 Project: Art as Urban Intervention

The "50/50" series is an ongoing relational art experiment and urban scavenger hunt. Each artwork begins incomplete: half of an original portrait is hidden in the streets of a designated city. The artwork only reaches its final form when discovered by a participant. Upon discovery, the finder and the artist meet to complete the missing half, the piece is signed, and the physical original is gifted to the finder—removing it entirely from the traditional commercial art market.

Because the original canvas is relinquished to the streets, these highly limited giclée prints serve as the sole opportunity for collectors to acquire these specific works. Characterized by meticulous digital stippling and a vibrant homage to 80s/90s geometric Pop Art, the 50/50 series is a testament to an art practice rooted in generosity, exploration, and human connection.
